Vancouver Heritage Foundation: created as a private, charitable organization in 1992 by the Mayor and Council of the City of Vancouver, who remain its honorary patrons until today. Under the direction of a private citizen Board of Directors, the Foundation assists with the conservation of Vancouver's built heritage, in recognition of its public benefit.

There are 3 ways to become a Friend:

	1. Become a Friend on-line using our secure on line registration. On-Line donations can be made through Visa, Mastercard and personal cheques.
	2. Print and fill out a Friend's slip and then mail or fax it to us.
	3. Email or call the Vancouver Heritage Foundation office to make a donation.
Lifelong Friends of the Foundation Friend of the Foundation Yosef Wosk is inviting other VHF supporters to join him as a Lifelong Friend. By contributing a lump sum of $500 in one year, rather than $50 for 10 years, you will be recognized as a Lifelong Friend of the Foundation. Each year we gratefully recognize individuals who have become Friends of the Foundation. Our annual Friends funds help to sustain the operations of the Foundation, ensuring that our doors stay open and our programs continue to run. We sincerely acknowledge the contribution of the Friends of the Foundation and invite you to become a Lifelong Friend with a contribution of $500. You will be acknowledged as a Friend for 10 years. You will continue to receive our newsletter and be invited to special events You can become a Lifelong Friend online using a credit card, or by calling the office at 604.264.9642, or by simply filling out the enclosed form and mailing it back to the Vancouver Heritage Foundation at 402 - 510 West Hastings St. Vancouver, BC, V6B 1L8.

Donations from our Friends help the Foundation to provide heritage conservation education, public awareness and granting programs. The generous act of becoming a Friend of the Vancouver Heritage Foundation makes a valuable contribution to preserving heritage buildings in our city.

Funds donated by Friends go towards:

Education and awareness programs such as our homeowner workshops, Open Vancouver Heritage House Tour and Old School: Courses for Heritage Building Conservation

Granting programs like True Colours that encourage economic investment in heritage buildings

Partnerships with related industries

Growing an Endowment Fund to benefit the conservation of Vancouver's heritage buildings in perpetuity

Suggested donations begin at $50 and are tax deductible. An official receipt for tax purposes are issued for all charitable donations received by the Foundation.
