Vancouver Heritage Foundation: created as a private, charitable organization in 1992 by the Mayor and Council of the City of Vancouver, who remain its honorary patrons until today. Under the direction of a private citizen Board of Directors, the Foundation assists with the conservation of Vancouver's built heritage, in recognition of its public benefit.



		The Vancouver Heritage Foundation was created as a charitable organization in 1992. The Mayor and City Councillors were its first Directors and remain Honorary Directors until today. Since 1998 the Foundation has been governed by a private citizen Board comprised of 15 voting Directors and 3 non-voting members, who are appointed by Mayor & Council.
