Description

Originally known as the Bank of Commerce building when it was built in 1912, Douglas Lodge continues to be a landmark along Granville Street. Over the years, this whimsical Georgian Revival structure has combined commercial and residential uses. Brick contrasted with cast stone and a variety of window shapes animate the facade. Renovations by architect, Richard Henrique in 1980 reinforce the building’s original design.
