Description

A Swiss chalet style Craftsman bungalow of 1910 designed by Gamble and Knapp, features river stone in the garden, leaded-glass windows, half-timbered gables, big brackets and eaves. The AC Hirschfeld House was built for the real estate broker and prominent businessman with mining interests in Atlin, Dawson and South Africa and was later editor and advertising manager for the Vancouver World.
