Description

This 1930 building, designed by William Dodd & Co., is an example of the second phase of West End development, when the high class family houses gave place to multi-unit properties.

The construction that occupies half block has a patterned brick facade, an unusual stepped brick parapet and a Gothic arched entry. Other remarkable feature is the cornice wraps around entire building.

It was home of Percy A. Williams, a Canadian athlete, recorded holder and winner of the races at 1928 Summer Olympics.
