June 22 | PTM Douglas Park Plaque Presentation

Join Vancouver Heritage Foundation and the Douglas Park Community Centre on Saturday June 22nd for the Douglas Park Community Day! VHF will be presenting our 94th PTM plaque alongside family-friendly entertainment and activities. We are seeking volunteers to be present at our VHF/PTM table to answer questions, share information and offer resources.

  • Where: Douglas Park East Field, Vancouver
  • Time commitment: 11am – 3pm

July 19 | Summer Storytelling

Join us for our first annual evening storytelling event. Local organizations and groups are invited to gather at this free community event to share stories, resources and research. Select speakers will also present. We are seeking volunteers to assist with set-up, take-down, greeting, wayfinding and sharing information.

  • Where: Heritage Hall, Main Street Vancouver
  • Time commitment: 5pm – 9:30pm

September 15 | Car Free Day Main Street

Come hang out with us at this fun outdoor community event. VHF will have a booth to share information about our organization, our Places That Matter project and a hands-on family-friendly craft activity. Volunteers will assist with the craft activity, answer questions and share VHF resources.

  • Where: 3100 block of Main Street, Vancouver
  • Time Commitment: 11:30am – 3:30pm or 3:30pm – 7:30pm
