We've presented 88 plaques in free public presentations since 2011. As part of National Heritage Week and the City of Vancouver's Heritage Week Proclamation (3rd week in February), VHF's Places That Matter Community Celebration has become an annual gathering to share all sites in the project with storytellers, students, local organizations and individuals. We continue to present Places That Matter plaques at free events around the city. If you'd like to join us, please sign up via the "submit story" button.

Vancouver Heritage Foundation's Places That Matter project has evolved from plaque presentations to related walking tours, bike tours and an annual gathering to celebrate all project sites together. We invite the public to join us for Places That Matter events and programming.
